“The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we can ever give each other is our attention.”
— Rachel Naomi Remen
Welcome
Most of us will find ourselves struggling at some point. Maybe you are suffering from crushing depression or debilitating anxiety or drowning in waves of grief. Maybe you need help navigating a life transition or important relationship. Some may long to heal past hurts. Or perhaps you are simply overwhelmed by life’s many stressors. It is often at these times that we seek out therapy. Together, we can explore what is motivating you toward this process and create an opportunity to delve into the struggles without losing sight of those meaningful aspects of your life. I have come to believe, through my experiences as both therapist and client, that the seemingly simple act of devoting time and energy toward oneself and one’s challenges can be transgressive and transformative. Therapy can be an opportunity to get to know those hidden parts of ourselves through honest self-expression and exploration in a safe, non-judgmental relational space.
I look forward to joining you on your journey toward greater well-being and understanding.
